I’m a PhD-student in economics at IIES. I have a background in politics as a economic policy advisor at the Swedish Parliament and before that I was president of the Swedish Federation of Student Unions.

Working paper: Female Teachers: The Roots of Weomen’s Emancipation
Me and Monir Bounadi have now finished a working paper on the Roots of Women’s Emanicpation. We will present the results at the Summer 2024 IOG-BFI Conference in Stockholm and the Lewis Lab Graduate Student Workshops in Manchester.
Vising researcher at Harvard University
During the spring semester of 2023 I have been invited by Prof. Melissa Dell as a visiting researcher at the economics department at Harvard University.
Female Suffrage project
I’m currently working with Monir Bounadi (IIES) on a research project about female suffrage on Sweden. Read more here (in Swedish).

Policy Talk at SNS
In November 2021 I moderated the IIES/SNS International Policy Talk at the think thank SNS. The topic was how to attract, keep and allocate good teachers. The key note speaker was professor Barbra Biasi (Yale/EIEF)
